We have now removed NTL from our peering arrangement in an attempt to stear traffic around the problem on there network.

This fix has been in place since this morning (19th Nov) and so far seems to have been received with positive feedback on some support tickets.

Anyone who has been experiencing regular problems with NTL/Virginmedia/Blueyounder should now find the connectivity has improved.

The fix is only temporary as we are steering around a problem that NTL has to fix, and removing a peering with a large provider costs tens of thousands of pounds a year in additional bandwidth costs on other networks, so we will need to remove this fix soon, once we have managed to get some kind of realistic response from NTL regarding fixing the problem.

If you have any questions or concerns then please do use our helpdesk, and I will do my best to keep feeding any relevant information into this thread.

Many thanks for your patience.
