| PS: Just to add - fading in / out at the same time - we tried this on a project, but the two merged images looked weird. So in the end we decided to fade image out to white & then fade other image in from white, so basically had a white frame in the middle. Just try overlaying two images with 50% transparency in PhotoShop - depending on the images, this can lead to unexpected results.
