I'm sorry to say its sounds like you are out of your depth. You have a big learning curve ahead of you. If you learn action script you can do most anything want. But if you ain't a real programmer then you will struggle badly with action script. YOU have to work out the logic for this yourself and if you can't work the logic then you will have to get someone else to do it for you. And since your client is asking for extras each time they see it, you have allowed a bottomless pit to open up before you.
Here's one I did some years ago. I haven't touched flash since so I'm not inclined to get involved as I suspect it will be way too time consuming. Not much help really. Best you go to flashkit and put out a request for coder with a specification. But get your client nailed on the spec before you do it or you will be paying more than once.
