changing Administrator User Name

are there any gotchas or repercussions associated with changing the Administrator User Name? Client would like it changed to something else

Not particularly, obviously the main email address on the account would change but that's pretty much it.

This is the main reason for changing it The client has a contact form that uses the site address as its from field. The form was done by someone else, and I have offered to drop in our contact standard form for a small fee including customising it to address a couple of other cosmetic issues. However they "just want" to change the email address

only one person (the boss) sees it butti needs to be changed.

this doesnt affect the mysql username or associated database logins then?

No, the mysql admin name is specified seperately at the bottom of the site add page.
