Mail settings

Can you confirm for me please settings regarding bouncing mail.
I have read other threads and thought that to make invalid mail bounce back you should not have a catch-all alias setup.
I do not have a catch all and invalid mail are not bouncing back.
Can I have some clarification on settings please.

Is there a FAQ regarding email setup?

TIA

Paul

I think it's best if you open a ticket and we can then check the aliases on your domain.

About a week ago I made a query via Support regarding the four default aliases as to whether they should be kept and used. UH-Wilson confirmed they should.

I did a test sending email to a bogus address at one of my domains, and got a bounce back message so that obviously works.

As UH-Simon says, you need to check your aliases and make sure you've not deleted any of those 4 defaults.
