I currently cannot access any sites on the rhino server and trying to complete a support ticket is giving sql errors including '(MySQL server has gone away)'.

Anything going on!?!?

Currently the Rhino server is down due to kernel panic indicating a hardware problem.
We are testing/replacing the likely hardware now to bring it back online.

Any reason why using the UH support ticket system would be failing and giving mysql errors... or is this just coincidence?

We don't see any issues with our helpdesk, please try again or email support@unitedhosting.co.uk to open a ticket i required. There is no need to open a ticket regarding Rhino as we already are aware and have an engineer attending to it.

We have replaced failed hardware (RAM) in the server and now it is back up.
