So I now have NewNet ADSL 8Mb/s as of today. So far so good. Tried support for a query I had about interleaving and phone was answered immediately by someone who knew what they were talking about and explained the pros and cons of it. That's a big plus in my book.

My question is this: If you run a tracert, what ping delay you get. For one of my sites at UH UK servers I get on average about 35ms and only 5 hops to the site.

For this forum, which is hosted in US, I get on average, 120ms to 150ms once it goes state side with about 20 hops to the site and a couple of time outs on route which happens occasionally.

Just wondering how everyone elses adsl performs in the UK verses the US.

I get 279ms on a 8mb connection. If i'm reading the right thing.

How do you find NewNet reliability and speed on sites hosted in the UH London datacentre?

I'm with Pipex which seems less reliable for my UH sites than for some other sites on the internet - lots of slow loading and timeout troubles. But those are the sites I mostly visit so would be good to find an ISP that was competent at reaching a wide range of websites.
