| They are old empty servers that we swap out for newer hardware, many many many more where those came from.

| Most of these are empty units, we take any useful spare parts out...
They would need a raid controller card, memory, hard disks and in many cases a PSU in order to be functional again... They do still have motherboard and CPU's (old dual xeons).. considering 4+ year old servers like these go on ebay for £50-100 at best it would cost more to get these working again than is worthwhile.

| It’s a rather extreme way we’ve found of keeping the servers nice and cool, certainly a lot cheaper than our normal cooling costs!
