I just purchased norton firewall because I was hacked a while back. I swear! since I bought it I have received about 50 attempts by others to get into my system via a "trojan horse/backdoor" attack. Mostly from germany.

yep. trojans are sooo easy to use now, every little kiddy is trying it. 99% of the time they wont get anywhere but the firewall will show there IP and the port they are trying.

You should see the reports for our webservers - We had to turn email notifications off, its every few minutes.

Yeh, especially some kid in Korea, he's constantly port scanning all our servers. You report him to the abuse address of his ISP and they do absolutely nothing.

yep i got those also, some backdoor's and what have you...

it's mainly people in secondary school, thinking it's all great i can hack into someone's PC... >
