It appears there are currently a lot of problems for UK clients connecting to UK servers.

We do not believe the problem to be specific to UnitedHosting, but rather a major routing or peering issue within the UK.

We are currently working to diagnose the issue, and contact providers/resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

We will keep you updated as we know more.

We're awaiting official confirmation from our upstream providers but the issue does now appear to have settled and all UK servers are fully accessible again. We will post again once we have a definitive confirmation. Thanks.

We have now completed our investigation into this mornings issues on our UK network.

The primary cause of the issue was a denial of service attack against core-1 routers in the DC. The issue has been resolved and all routing and switching equipment is online. We are proactively exploring options for investing in additional routing and switching hardware that will help avoid any future incidents in the future.
