Viper server rebooting

We are rebooting the VIPER server for FSCK (file system check) it should be back in 5-10 minutes.

The server is stable, to solve the disk issue properly we may need to perform some maintenance on this server later tonight to swap out a bad disk. We will keep you updated here.

We are going to be performing maintenance to viper for the rest of the evening to try and fully resolve the disk issue, we feel its better to do so during sunday night and try to resolve the fault before the start of next weeks working week.

Thank you for your understanding tonight incase any further services have to be taken down occasionally and intermitantly while we complete this essential maintenance.

The maintenance on Viper has been finished but there are still some outstanding issues we will need to work on this week (at night). We'll update this thread again when this work commences. All services on Viper are online and responding normally at this time. Thank you for your patience.

The Viper server is currently running a manual filesystem check and this will then be followed with a RAID card swap and new secondary drive. We will update you as soon as this maintenance has been complete. Thank you.

Unfortunately after multiple passes during the filesystem check the drive has failed. We are now preparing the server with the new RAID card and 2 new drives and will start a restore from our backups. We will update this thread as this progresses. Thank you for your understanding.

This server is now restoring from last CDP backup to new hardware.
