Thread: Stingray server maintenance 2AM

Customers of stingray may have noticed several brief outages in services over the past few weeks. At these times another customers script has managed to eat a considerable amount of RAM on the server at the same time as offsite backups and log rotations are running, the culmination of these events crashing Apache and forcing a restart.

We will be taking Stingray server down at 2AM tonight (4 hours from now) to bump up the RAM in this server by a further 8GB, this will allow the server to operate optimally even during such events and avoid any impact to service moving forward.
