Change of credit card gateway provider

UnitedHosting will be changing its credit card payment gateway provider from Protx to Secpay during the month of July.

During July if you pay for your hosting monthly by credit card, we will email you details on how to securely update your credit card information with us in our new secpay payment system. You will need to promptly follow instructions in this email in order to update your details and stop your account falling overdue. The email will be sent on or just before your regular monthly payment day.

Customers who pay annually or via other means such as paypal, bank transfer or paypal are not affected.

The change is due to a decline in service from protx, and to facilitate enhanced functionality for our new online billing centre which you will have access to in the support site in the very near future!

Any concerns can be raised via our helpdesk as normal for a prompt reply.

We have now switched our credit card gateway from protx to secpay.

All future orders placed on our site and card updates made via update links provided to you, will direct you to pay via our new secpay gateway and not protx.

As we have changed provider, we no longer have credit card details on file for you. If you pay for hosting monthly, then on your billing day in august you will receive an email to make your due payment via our new system. This will allow you to make payment and also we will then again have your card on file with our new gateway provider.

We appreciate you promptly making payment when you receive your email from us this month requesting payment for your hosting. By making payment promptly it will greatly lessen our work load in chasing payments and avoid the possibility of your account being suspended for non payment.
