Moving my site

Hi, i have a site which i have been running for about a year and a half, im starting to think that now could ben the time to move to our own server.
Its a phpbb2 board that i would like to convert to phpbb3 and host here.

What sort of hosting plan would you recomend?

Well the question is a bit broad and much like asking how long is a piece of string? Do you know how much monthly bandwidth you are using and how much disk space you are using? Also what is the current hosting plan and have you outgrown this or been told you need a server by you existing host?

I would recommend sending the answers to these questions to our sales team via email so we can respond directly to you with a quote.

If your looking for a dedicated server then our bronze server is perfect for most sites requirements, although its our smallest dedicated it is very much high end when compared to most other hosts spec's and includes dualcore cpu and 2GB ram.

Sorry mate were on a free host at the mo so getting that information is a little hard.

I know our database is around 28 megs compressed at the mo, and i also know in terms of hits we get

around 30-40k a month which rises to 70-80k in the summer months.

Also we dont need a dedicated server shared is fine

If shared is fine then you can choose a package which will suit your disk usage, and then see how traffic goes from there, you can upgrade at any time you would like.

bronze has 200mb disk, silver has 500mb disk and gold has 1000mb of disk so i would recommend going with one of these plans and then you will be able to see bandwidth usage once you have been hosting with us for a few days.
