Hi,
I know this is a likely a commonly asked question but I just can't seem to find the definitive answer.
I've read a few threads across the forum and there are a few references to PHP5 being rolled out, but there doesn't seem to be an announcement posted about it (though there was a reference to the announcement I couldn't find!). The
info page for shared hosting though claims each user is given their own copy of PHP which can be PHP4 or PHP5 depending upon requirements.
So...does UnitedHosting provide PHP5 on it's shared servers. And if so, is it the proper module version or a cgi? The host I'm currently with uses the latter and I find it's frustratingly restrictive for some of the things I want to do which is the reason I need to move.
Thanks.
