Moving from Supanames & other questions

Hi,

I am currently hosted with SupaName's 'Premier' package and have subsequently decided to explore the possibility of moving to UH. I am currently eyeing the $23 a month Platinum package, and it seems to offer everything I need and more for the same price as my existing package.

I have a few questions however:

- You were recommended to me by somebody who has moved from SN also - is the process smooth? Do I need to move files, or do you do that? What is specifically involved with a transfer?

- Unlimited MySQL databases - is there any theoretical limit? I'm likely to be using 10-20 as I prefer to run a separate database for each project I develop.

- Cron jobs - are they supported? I am told to set them up I email you - is this still the case?

- You will need to move your files over. Then you would just get the domains nameservers changed to the one's we allocate you and that should be all that is involved.

- MySQL db's are only limited by the amount of diskspace on your plan (on the Platinum package this would be 2gb).

- Yes, we allow cron jobs. You would raise a support ticket letting us know the cron line and how often you want it run. We would then test it to ensure it doesnt cause any resource/load issues and then add it.
