New domain and Bronze hosting

Hello all.

I have a photographer friend who wants to set up a website showcasing his portfolio and he has asked me to help set up a site for this. I know about the hosting costs, but could someone please tell me the cost of registering a domain name with UH, it will probably be a ".com" but could be a ".co.uk" as well, so if you can give me an idea of price for both that would be great.

.com is £10 for 1 year registration
.co.uk is £15 for 2 years registration

We can register the name when you signup for the hosting.

Thanks Matt. Is that all there is to pay? I have read elsewhere in the forums that there is a deposit of $100 or something, but that could be old news???

The $100 deposit only applies if you open an enom reseller account, i.e. if you want to buy and resell domain names yourself

Aah that's fine. So he will only pay £10 for his annual ".com" and then £5 per month for Bronze Hosting and that's it?

As an afterthought, is it £10 every year for the domain re-registration or does it go up/down after the first year? And can he pre-buy for, say, five or ten years?

Yep all you will pay is £10 for the domain for 1 year and then £5 per month for the hosting.

It is £10 each year, regardless of if its a new registration or a renewal
