Regarding some peoples comments on Auto-installing scripts and such.

Now Swsoft own the Pro control panel I know they are working hard to add their own packaging platform to it, the same one that comes with plesk and has over 150 up-to-date tools. This is coming and will replace the now out of date Powertools...

Plesk (now called "Parallels Plesk") uses Fantastico - so I guess I was right.

Nope it is not fantastico. It is a new "standard" which Parallels are heading, but it opens up the application pool to allow for literally hundreds of scripts and other applications to be packaged:

unitedsupport.co.uk down?

vBulletin only allows forum email subscriptions to be sent daily, not instantly as they are for thread email subscriptions. You'll have to set aside a thread for service updates if that's the plan for email notifications.

As said by TygerTyger, new threads are only notified daily. Replies to an existing subscribed thread are notified immediatly.

I heard rumours a while ago that UH was setting up another system for notifying clients of problems/updates/etc but nothing has happened yet...

It is a good idea to check the forums before making complaints... UH do generally keep us informed of problems when they are aware it affects more than a couple of users.
