I wonder if anybody can help me here?

I use thunderbird to keep track of several email address of mine, most of which are email accounts on my reseller account, but I also have a googlemail account.

In the past I've been using different smtp outgoing servers for sending mail from each account, but then I realised that I could use just one (namely my main UH one).

So that means when I send a mail "from" googlemail, it's really being sent from UH mailserver?

Should I be using google's smtp for this or doesn't it matter? And what about using the same smtp server for different email addresses on my reseller websites?

Makes no difference really. Except for bandwidth allocation... if you send all your emails under one account, all the SMTP bandwidth consumed will be against that account.
