| Redirect from subdomain
I had a forum which was accessed by forums.mydomain.com. However I have now installed Joomla! and need people to connect to the forum via the main site url www(dot)mydomain(dot)com. Im using jfusion to bridge the forum into joomla which works well.(one login covers joomla and forum).
I need an .htaccess file redirect that will just pick up people trying to get to the forum using the subdomain forums.mydomain.com and redirect them to the joomla site, so that they can access the forum from there.
Any help would be appreciated ie; what I would need to put in the htaccess file and also where to put the file to do the redirect.
PS i tried putting in a simple redirect into the subdomain forum index.php but that affected the forum in the main site also. Im baffeled!
