I am trying to find the error logs on the server. I do have a folder "log" in the "var" folder but it is empty. In the plan set-up WebLogs is checked. What am I missing?

Thanks

You need to navigate directly to /var/log/httpd/

You will then find the error_log

Maybe your site hasn't encountered any errors yet.

You should not be in the log folder.

You need to go DIRECTLY to "/var/log/httpd/" type that whole path in on your FTP client.

If you navigate to var, then to log, you will see empty folders as you do not have permissions to view anything in those two folders, you have to go DIRECTLY to the httpd folder and then you will see the raw log files.

Alternatively in your control panel under the usage section you can download the raw log files from there too.
