{spam?}

I get spam through my email account.

For some reason, every piece of spam has '{spam?}' added to the subject line. I don't know if this is something to do with the UH spam filters or what.

Does anyone know any way to block all emails with that in the subject using Outlook Express?

Thanks

Phil [pxdnet.co.uk]

The tags are added by our spamassassin/mailscanner so you can filter etc..

You can do some funky things with outlook so I will move this to the webmaster lounge where other customers can advise.

Not a problem.

I use outlook express myself. I have message rules setup to move spam tagged emails directly to the trashcan.

I recommend reading the outlook help files, but if you goto:

Tools -> Message Rules -> Mail

You can set it so if {spam?} is in the subject it moves the messages to the trash can upon receiving them.

Thanks, I think i've got it sorted. Before I was just deleting messages already in my inbox but I think it should work now.

Nice feature by the way... maybe you should shout about it more? All my spam is marked with that tag... and no genuine contact is.

Satisfied as ever - Phil
