E-mail problems with Eudora

Whenever I try to check the e-mail accounts for my hosting account I get the following error message in my e-mail program, Eudora:

SSL Negotiation Failed: Certificate Error: Cert Chain not trusted. Try adding this certificate to your certificate database for SSL to suceed. Certificate bad: Destination Host name does not match Host name in certificate. Cause (-6995)

Any ideas what I need to do to combat this? I have no SSL certificates for my site, and have copied my server info exactly as it should be into Eudora. (I'm using Eudora 6.0.1.1 on Win XP Pro if that helps anyone)

Sounds like Eudora is trying to connect via. some sort of secure connection.

There is no secure access to mail server (as far as I know), so turn off "SSL Negotiation". After that your client should work. i can't give you more information since I don't use Eudora.

Thanks guys, I've got it working now.

Eudora automatically tries to check e-mail accounts using SSL where possible, which is okay for my other accounts, which seems to ignore it. I've turned it off now and it works perfectly.
