| New site ;D
I found out the hard way about moving CGI type stuff to the server from windows. I totally forgot about that, unpacked a crap load of files and configured my forum then couldn't get it working. It was then I realized I was still in windows! what a day! Well, after an hour of cleaning up my mess and redoing it from Linux I finally got my forum up! although my site is still very empty and ugly. http://www.pcgamergeeks.com
If there are any other PC game geeks out there who wouldn't mind helping to collect content, I would appreciate it!

| Re:New site I only use notepad and wordpad. ( I use wordpad when working with the PHP files that I have saved while I was logged into Linux because linux puts all the tabs and cariage controls in the file and it's just too hard to weed through in notepad.)

| Re:New site Hiya Dwilson,
I must say, I love your navigation system - the way it stays in viewing even when scrolling up and down the page. Nice touch |

| Re:New site I never noticed that navigations cipt you got there dwilson, must be the fact that im using high resolution. ;D
however it's a good script.
I use Dreamweaver mainly, and because i don't code i usually make html web pages, with Photoshop for graphics. Basically because i enjoy it, and also skinning. |

| Re:New site Yeah I been holding out on getting some software. I want either Frontpage or dreamweaver. Frontpage is almost $200. I may buy that tonight. It is a real pain coding everything. I like to learn but I also need to get my site up fast and make it look good because right now it looks terrible

| Re:New site Ok...ok..I talked myself into buying frontpage. So far it sucks but I think i'll get the hang of it. Does nothing that I really want to do which is why I usually use notepad. Of course notepad is very slow when you need to spit pages out fast so I was forced into buying an editor. Wish me luck

| Re:New site Yeh, Frontpage is good for spitting out pages quickly. I tried to use it a long time ago but just got frustrated at how difficult it was to get things laid out exactly how I wanted so went back to notepad. ;D

| Re:New site Front Page really isn't that good. Its not very helpful unless your a first time learner to HTML.
Notepad used to be my form of HTML coding, then I move to textpad, then onto Evsoft, now I used Dreamweaver MX, and its awesome.
For some reason I'm better using straight forward HTML rather than a page editer...
