Any ideas on how to make them sit up and take notice, or anyone else had problems like this? I note that they have a transfer (out) fee of 9.95 as well, so even threatening to move the domain won't help as they'll still be quids in, even if they did take any notice...

I'd rather cut and run and put the domain on 123-reg so I can control it, but it's not my call (yet).

Cheers for any advice,
Crispin
I cant get a response out of netthe.net and my web site has gone down. neither can I register it with another company since they say it is not available. It is due for renewal but they wont let me renew.
Any suggestions?

If it's due for renewal and netthe.net won't do it then you're stuffed. I think .net domains are the same as .com domains when it comes to transfers - no transfers if within 30 days of renewal date.

What's the suffix of your domain? If it is a .com, then you might be able to wait for it to expire and just pounce on it by registering it with a reputable domain company. Of course this depends upon how important the site is to you, and whether you can wait that long, also assumes that it isn't a really sought-after domain that's likely to be hijacked!

Let us know how you get on!
