123-reg changing nameservers/dns

A new client of mine had their domain setup with forwarding in their 123-reg account to some free isp webspace, now i`ve opened an account here and need to change the 123-reg settings to the config for here.

I`ve reset the web forwarding and set the name servers to the correct value, that is showing correctly when i check whois, the problem is that in the dns settings page, there were "MX" records for the 123-reg space and also "A" and "@" records, do i delete these or are these ignored anyway becuase i have set the nameservers away from 123-reg?

Thanks,

Simon

The dns records at 123-reg will be irrelevant as the nameservers have been moved away. You can leave them or remove them and it wont make any difference.

Thanks, thats what was confusing me, i still don`t see the site, but just spoke to desquin on an ntl connection and he sees the changes already, guess i`ll just have to wait.
