hi people,

I finally have my site to a workable situation, I now need some 3rd party feedback on the site as a whole.

I have done most of the error testing on my own, but after a while you stop seeing things that could be improved.

Thats where I hope you come in, can you, if you have the time visit:

Movie Reviews (movie review site)

To write any reviews you would need to signup, but if you don't want to do that just mooch around.

and let me know what you think of the design (its a commercial joomla template with some hacks) and if the site is user friendly? is it easy to navigate? are there any errors/bugs?

Seems like a good site, however it seems your ad banner is broken:
The left end of the box is seperated from the main box, and is pushing the login box down.

I would post a screenshot, but VB won't let me post such a big image

ok, that sounds like a nice bug, could I get some info like your browser? screen res etc, so I can try and replicate and fix it

My screen size is 1280*1024
The problem occurs on Both IE and FF
The problem fixes itself when I choose the option wide screen or narrow screen.

The thing about the login box isn't actually a bug :s it seems its the effect you wanted.

ok, thanks very much for making the effort to upload the screenie, the login box is in the right place, although the border around the banner is missing some of, well.... its border, I'll have a fiddle and see if I can fix that, although the border looks fine in IE6 and FF here, but I know its there by your SS.

Your site doesn't validate which you might not care about, but if not then you might want to lose the validation check buttons at the bottom of your template.

Looks good though - good luck with it.
