Feed back on this site would be appreciated. It went live a few months ago and I'm reviewing it to see whether I can improve anything. ( Maybe make it a little smaller)

RIB Tubes

It all hangs together on the browsers I've tested on in Windows. Macs and Safari have been tested but it should work (I think)

The main thing I'm interested in is the graphics and whether I've gone overboard on the copy. i.e. is it too verbose? It kind of grew to something bigger than planned and I'm wondering whether its too much info for people to take in and whether they can get to the bits they to see easily enough. Most things are only one or two clicks away but that doesn't necessarily make them intuitive to find.

I think the width is fine. I find less and less are using 800px width monitor settings.

I like the layout, colours, and overall design.

Accessibility looks good, pages load quickly and I like the way you have integrated the gallery and video.

My only comments would be that the first block of text is too intimidating (on the home page in particular) - this could do with being broken up, preferably with some h2 sub headings (and maybe more links within the copy). Also the images on the home page (below the block of text) look a bit like an after-thought - these would look better all the same size, preferably smaller, and could even be used to break up the text.

Your target audience seems to include everyone from the leisure/public market to MOD and I think you may widen the appeal if it was easier to see how the products fit into each sector. I don't know the inflatable design business at all, and maybe some of your audience don't either :-)

I think your points about the home page are valid and I have been thinking of rewriting that page. The market is actually pretty small and even though the indexing is pretty good it doesn't generate a lot of hits. I'm still working on that but google is soooo sloooooow re-indexing, especially when you have quite a few pages for it to work through.

have a look at some of the humour on ribnet forum and you'll see its maybe not misplaced.

p.s. one thing I have noticed is that a high percentage of visitors go straight to the image gallery, spend 5mins looking at pics and then leave.
Either that is because they don't like what they see or they are only interested in pretty picyures or more likely, the max attention span for any site is only 5 mins and its time to move on. Maybe sprinkling images throughout the site would actually get them to look at what is on offer.
