Band community Site

TelfordRocks

finished this site in october, but i'm about to add a bunch of new features, and tidy up my code, so any suggestions design/layout wise would be greatly appreciated.

It's a site for all local bands and live-music fans so they can find out when gigs are on and find out about their favourite local bands. Obviously there're plenty of "gig listing" sites available, but this is for a local community.

I really like it. Sound quality is excellent. Nice clear layout. Only knitpicking point is that some of the text in reviews is a bit small, especially where it is italicised, which makes reading it tricky.

Send a message via MSN to Alex.
The site looks great, and as percepts said, the sound quality is great.
However, I find the text a bit too cramped, but otherwise it looks great

Is track 19 by The Hair Thieves playing too fast?

Infact I think all tracks are playing too fast in my browser.

If I copy the mp3 files and playback locally, they are much slower and sound much better.

if its any help, download a copy of audacity from sourceforge. You will see that the files are using different hz rate so if flash is using a fixed playback speed then some may be correct and others won't. I guess you need to either tell flash to use input file hz rate or convert them all to same hz rate which flash is using.

I like it lots! The "Sign up" text possibly blends into the background a little too well.
