I've had it up for a few years and have finally given in to using flash (Given into the darkside!). It's for my Aunts and Uncles who live in other parts of the country (US) and don't get to she us that often.It's my first full flash website and would appreciate the feed back. The only link that's not working is "video". I have a big library of her video files and am still working on it.

Thats really nice, I like the minimal but very effective animations. I'm also partial to that real home made 'piece of paper' look. Well done.

thats your first flash website? thats bloody brilliant for a first attempt.

why is flash the darkside? some of the results ive seen from people using flash is a very high standard! and flash can do alot.

I think it is great - especially for a first attempt! If only all my first attempts at flash looked like that!!

Just being coy!

I've resisted using flash for so long but, with more and more people getting broadband the old excuse of "It takes to long for people with dial-up" just don't cut the mustard anymore!

you could always have a splash screen that comes up asking the user to view flash site or non flash site :P to avoid that dial up problem :P

who's still on dial up these days anyway hehe. "I have the need. the need for speed"

(in case you are not taking that reference from the same movie as I am, it was called "Top Gun" and was about fighter pilots so I loved it as a kid. (heck I still do..lol))

Wow that is a pretty cool flash site for your first.

Did you use any packaged tool to make it? And if so, does it make creation easy enough for a non-programmer non-designer to make anything decent with?

I'd love to be able to make something that nice for "My Three Sons". (another reference to film/tv)

The gallery and preloader are a flash components but everthing else is my doing.

If anyone want those components, I'll be happy to share.
