Unhappy PostNuke/Autotheme

Hi all,

I'll try and explain this as thoroughly as I can as it's not getting on my wick. Basically, I've bought a theme to use with PostNuke/Autotheme and obviously beforehand in order to use it I needed to install PostNuke and Autotheme.

I can get through installing PostNuke and installing Autotheme onto my site no problems at all - it's only once I try and change the theme onto my website that everything goes bottom end up.

Now, ever since changing the theme on my website to the new theme I get the following error:

I've googled some information relating to this error and PostNuke and it appears that it's either problems with .htaccess or something to do with register_globals either being on or off.

Basically, now my website is buggered and I don't feel like freshly installing PostNuke or Autotheme over and over again and trying to switch themes unless I can get it to work the next time I try.

Does anyone have any ideas on what exactly I'm doing wrong? I successfully installed everything and seemed to have no problems until I changed the theme. I also couldn't access the Autotheme Administration module due to the same error but at the time I didn't think anything of it as I didn't need to access that page.

Many thanks in advance for anyones help, it will be greatly appreciated.

~Liam

Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately I deleted all the htaccess files and it still does not work. Anyone else have aything to suggest?

EDIT - I think I've solved some of the problem - when I uploaded the theme to my website I had renamed the folder to something else whereas it should have stayed as the original name. I renamed the folder back to what it was and now I can access my site again. Unfortunately if I try and apply a different theme, or access any of the modules, I'm given the same error as above.

Can you check what the error logs are saying, either with ftp go to the folder /var/log/httpd and download the error_log or through the control panel in the "webserver" section you have an option to download the error logs from there as well. You need to see what the actual error is, error 500 can be used for a lot of reasons.

I've downloaded the error log and uploaded it as a text file to my website:

http://www.the-immortality.com/error_log.txt

Hope that helps.
