SMF Forum and Oscommerce

Hi

I'm thinking of installing the SMF forum into a folder on my oscommerce site. However my Osc site requires Register globals = ON and SMF requires Register Globals = OFF. Is it possible to have a different php.ini in the SMF folder with register globals = OFF or can it be done with a .htacces file?

as far as i remember, php.ini or .htaccess in individual folder for the purpose of register globals wont work on UH servers unless chnage has been made recently. yuor option is either to upgrade osc to the latest version that works on r_g on or off, or disable SMF's checking of R Gs, or something else (another forum app etc).

Thanks for that. I'll look into installing the reg globals for oscommerce.
