Is Rails (And Ruby) installed as part of our hosting package?

Or, can it be installed?

I had a search of the forums but all the chat on Rails is quite old

Rails and Ensim Pro don't work well together. You may have more luck on cPanel servers.

While Rails/Ruby are well supported on CPanel, we do not expect to support them on our CPanel shared hosting either due to the potential for abuse and high resource consumption.

Rails/Ruby, when all is said and done, is just another framework and programming language variant - and not a very well supported one at that.

It made a big splash when it arrived, but the ripples have pretty much died away now.
