New XML tool sets with Php5

As we roll out php5 upgrade in all our servers it is VERY IMPORTANT for all of you to take a look at this thread.

Both ext/xslt and ext/domxml have been removed from the core PHP5 distribution and replaced with completely new extensions, resulting in the need to review and typically re-write all older code relying on either of those extensions in order to upgrade.

You can read more about it at XML and PHP 5

Regards,
Murali

Is this an official UH post or are the names just coincidence?

The question was asked as advise was being given that sounded like it was coming from UH from a user called getmurali not UH -Murali - I just wanted to check that is was something from UH - I don't see anything wrong with that

PS - Just so people don't think I'm barking the post was initially made by a different user and the name has now been updated!

I got lucky as I had used functions from the expat extension which has fortunately been retained.
