Through no fault of my own UH have had to move all sites from a shared dedi to a reseller server in a bit of a rush. Our shared dedi was not yet upgraded to PHP5 but with the .htaccess trick I did have my sites running under PHP5.

I use the mysqli class for one of the sites, luckily only one of them, and now that its on the "keystone" server I'm getting errors that the mysqli class can not be found, is it not in the PHP5 that has been rolled out to all the servers?

I have asked UH support but I know that because of what happened this morning they have a lot to deal with, has anyone else got any ideas why i'm getting this error?

If it helps, the exact error message in the logs is

PHP Fatal error: Class 'mysqli' not found in /my/file.php on line 3

The line where it is used is

class myClassName extends mysqli {
// new functions
}

never used it but check your phpinfo for the following:


--with-mysqli=shared,/usr/bin/mysql_config

/etc/php.d/mysqli.ini

you should also have removed any htaccess for php5 stuff which could have screwed include paths. And check any other include_path settings that you may have overidden

mysqli works OK for me on Delphin.

Does phpinfo() list MySQLi?

There was a problem with the include folder on the server which has since been fixed, I guess it affected all sites on the server, but I was the only one to use that class....
