does anyone have experience with alienform? i keep gettting:


"Missing right curly or square bracket at ... /af.pl line 275, at end of line
syntax error at ... /af.pl line 275, at EOF"


i haven't gone through the script line by line, but there are an equal number of right to left brackets, curlys,and parnetheses.

everything untarred with permissions intact. and i've only modified the few variables in the script which require it.

this script was previously running on perl 5.004 without issues. perhaps this is a version conflict? i feel like i am missing something more fundamental than a bracket, etc.

This may sound stupid, but it almost sounds like a corrupted file.
Have you tried to reupload it? Just wondering..

yeah, more times than i can count. somthings weird though.

i might add that i am open to using a php script in due course, but initially i need to get my sites transferred and working in the shortest amount of time possible. any help appreciated.
